One of the larger rooms, set around the courtyard where the house stays coolest. Tadelakt the colour of the earth outside, carved cedar at the bed, and shutters that fold back onto the water below or the lane beyond.
Big enough to sit in through the worst of the afternoon heat, when the medina is best left alone for an hour or two. The room stays dark and quiet long after the city has started up again outside.
